The Kelvin. Absolute zero is, well, zero, and the triple point of water is 273.16 K. SI also allows the use of °C. Note that the "°" is not used with kelvin but is with degrees Celsius.
The freezing point of water (at 1 atm) is 0 °C, or 273.15 K. Most thermodynamic calculations require the use of absolute temperature, and the corresponding inch-pound unit is the Rankine. 1 K = 1.8 R.
