Gday,
I am trying to work out if 70mmsq/2/0 copper welding cable running up to 150 Amp@30to60 volt is going to be enough over 250m820ft from welding electrode to welder.
I am useing miller 300amp dc welder
Any hepl would be great

Resistivity of copper is about 17 nanohm·meters, but varies a little with temperature. Resistance is
resistivity x length/area

17E-9 ohm·m X 500 m /70E-6 m² = 0.12 ohm
(you have two wires 250 m)

0.12 ohms x 150 A = 18 V

At best, very marginal. Probably the drop is excessive.
