If i have a 1.5 litre engine and travel 31.4km to work - how much petrol am i using?
The time it takes is approximately 1 hour - due to heavy traffic.
Please help, its needed for a Tafe assignment.
Cheers

First fill your tank, drive 50 miles, fill tank again and get the mpg. Your driving in HEAVY trafic which means a lot of idyling and that means mpg loss. Weather also affects mpg-dry means fairly good mpg-rainy it gets better due to the density of the air,gas mix. Then again if you drive at 60 instead of 30 your gas loss is doubled. A well waxed and clean body on a car also means improved mpg. Keep ties inflated to correct pressure.ScatNat wrote:If i have a 1.5 litre engine and travel 31.4km to work - how much petrol am i using?
