Just had an estimate on having some sod installed in my yard. My yard is 58.62'x132.78'x196.74'x43.07'x167.93' (i know it is a strange size!) My home is a 3 step ranch ( 2000 sq ft. ) The front of the home ( wich faces the 58.62' is 30' from prop. line, the left side of home is 18' from prop line, the back is 74' from prop line & the right side is 17' from prop line.
My estimate came out to 3,000 to grade, add 20 yards of top soil & sod.The estimate has 850 yards of sod.......is this possible? Does 850 yards of sod cover my lot? Keep in mind I do not have any landscaping in yet ( as this is new construction ) so there will be roughly about 2-3 ft' next to the house where there will be no sod.
