Ok, i heard this question the other day and it's been driving me nuts. Would anyone be willing to help me out? Descriptions of why this does what etc would be awesome too. (Also note i cant remember the question exactly, but it should still be fine if the Liter conversion isnt exact and whatnot)
Q: If 1 Gallon of Gas equals 3.785 Liters, and 1 Gallon costs 2.50$. How much would 1 Liter Cost?
Now this is driving me nuts because back in highschool i was fine with math, but it seems that time has shut my brain down.
Now if it were that 1 Gallon Equalled 3 Liters, i could simply divide the price per gallon by 3 (liters) and bam, i have my answer.
But for some reason the 3.875 is throwing my brain for a loop.
Any help would be awesome, thanks!
