Can anyone show me the calculations to convert an arc length of 70.53" inches to a linear straight length.

Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. You have to know the radius, or else the angle the arc subtends. Itherwise you can't.

I found this page searching for an answer that I needed myself.
I found my solution using this web-based calculator.
I'm not sure if this will help you I've been hastily browsing... but it might!
