I have a plot with 5 sides. I've seen the posts on how to figure the acreage if there are 4 sides, but not sure about 5 sides. Can anyone help me with the formula?

3 sides uniquely determine a triangle and the area can be calculated. For four or more sides, it is not unique without additional information on either the angles, or enough diagonals to divide it into triangles.
The plots associated with deeds usually show the compass beariings of each of the sides. With that, it can be calculated.
