This is probably a very easy maths convert! 3ft bt 3ft. what is this in square metres? also 3ft by 6ft, what is this in square metres. thanks

1' = 0.3048 m, so
3' = 0.9144 m,
6' = 1.8288 m

so 3' x 3'' = 0.9144 m x 0.9144 m = .836 m^2
and 3' x 6' = 0.9144 m x 1.8288 m
= 1.672 m^2

but it would be easier to measure in meters in the first place.
