formula needed

What's the formula to figure out the diameter of a circle if you know the acreage inside it?
A 100 square mile area (64000 acres) in a circular shape, would have what diameter?
A 50 square mile area (32000 acres) in a circular shape, would have what diameter?
Anyone know the formula to share with me?
Thanks,
ManFriday

A = (pi/4)*d^2

So d = SQRT(4*a/pi)

for 100 sq miles, d = 11.28 miles approx.
