Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. Month after month we saw less posts with questions and answers from real people and more spam posts. How do I convert a cubic yard of topsoil to weight?

A bank cubic yard of topsoil weighs approximately 2300 pounds.
It is only an approximate weight as topsoils vary in composition. If you need a more accurate weight, contact an engineering lab that conducts soil tests.
