Dear convert-me.com forum visitors,

Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. Month after month we saw less posts with questions and answers from real people and more spam posts. We were spending more and more resources cleaning the spam until there were less them 1 legitimate message per 100 spam posts. Then we decided it's time to stop.

All the posts in the forum will be available and searchable. We understand there are a lot of useful information and we aren't going to remove anything. As for the new questions, you can always ask them on convert-me.com FaceBook page

Thank you for being with us and sorry for any inconveniences this could caused.

Incremental temperature conversions

I'm pretty sure you'r incremental temperature converter is wrong.

INCREMENTALLY
1k = -273.1 C = -459.7 F
1F = .55555 C = 255.9 K
1C = 1.8 F = -273.15 K

Please fix it.

Incremental conversion answer the question how many degrees in one scale the temperature changes when it is changed that many degrees in the other scale.

By definition, Kelvin and Celsius degree are equal, these two scales only use different zero point. For Fahrenheit zero Celsius is 32 Fahrenheit and 100 Celsius is 212 Fahrenheit. It means that incrementing 100 degrees Celsius is equal to incrementing (212-32)= 180 degrees Fahrenheit. I.e. incrementing 1 degree Celsius is equal to incrementing 1.8 degree Fahrenheit. You can similarly check the other scales. So the conversion is right. :)
