Misleading conversion of VA

Under the "Power" section of your conversion menu it is misleading to have a direct conversion from VA to Watts on a 1:1 basis, as this presumes a power factor of 1.0 which is often not the case. I would recommend that this section should include a selectable field for the Power Factor to be entered, including a box to select "lagging" or "leading" The Power Factor default could be 1.0 in this field, which default value would then be displayed when the conversion was calculated, if no specific power factor value was selected by the user. This would not only provide more useful conversions for specific power factors but would also remove the present misleading displayed conversion of assuming a Power Factor value of 1.0 without actually stating that.

Thank you for the feedback. You're absolutely right. Unfortunately the current schema of the conversion site does not allow us to add extra parameters. We decided it would be better to add VA with power factor of 1 rather then exclude it at all. For the next version of the site we''ll think on adding the possibility of additional conversion parameters.
