Quantity Unit:
1 mole = 6.0221367x10^23 units
This is an extremely important quantity unit as it's used to simplify chemistry calculations. It is derived from the number of particles needed to create the same number of grams as its atomic mass number. For instance, carbon has an average atomic mass of 12.011amu. Therefore, 1 mole of carbon particles are needed to have 12.011g of carbon.
It's commonly abbreviated as "mol" for whatever reason.
