I've been hearing the use of a "click" quite many times now in various movies, usually used by the CIA, military, or some other top secret agencies. I'm pretty sure it's some type of unit of distance, but I can't find out online just how far a click is. "The target is 5 clicks south of us..." sounds familiar somewhere?
Help me out here, it's been bugging me for a while.

Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode.
