dam stands for decameter. 'deca' in greek means 'ten' so knowing that then 1dam is equal to 10m; now move to meters and 1m=100cm, so therefore 1dam is 1000cm; the same high risk merchant account rule of thumb would apply for the mg to dg (decagram). I have no idea what the first one is in measurements...what is cs short for?
