Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. Month after month we saw less posts with questions and answers from real people and more spam posts. 28 degrees API converts to specific gravity as
SG = 141.5/(131.5 + 28) = 0.887
The density of water at 60 °F is about 0.999 kg/L, so this SG is a density of 0.886 kg/L.
A barrel is about 159 L, so 140.9 kg (+ the barrel itself).
