I get different answers when looking up degrees Kelvin in electron-volts. Room temperature is given as .04 eV, and one electron volt is given as about 11,000K. However, if room temperature (about 300K) is multiplied by the reciprocal of .04, one eV becomes 7500K, not 11000K.
In fact, except for the direct "1eV=11000K", all other applications, such as solar radiation, seems more compatible with 1eV=7500K.
Can you explain what is wrong here?
