Is it possible to convert langleys to watts per meter 2? I have several measures of solar energy from different sources and would like to compare them if poosible.

Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. According to NIST guide to SI units, one langley equals to 4.184E+04 joules per square meter.
Joule itself is watt * hour. So langleys can be converted to watt*hour per square meter, not just watts per square meter.

Check that publication again, in the W section all the way at the bottom. A Joule is Watt * sec. So there is a factor of 3600 between the two.
