Dear convert-me.com forum visitors,
Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. Month after month we saw less posts with questions and answers from real people and more spam posts. I assume this is a gas. The volume of a gas ONLY has meaning if you also state the temperature and pressure at which the volume is measured.
Normal meters cubed (the "N" stands for normal") refer to a volume measured at 101.35 kPa and 0 °C.
Normally, a relationship derived from Ideal Gas law is used to adjust. For a given amount of gas, pressure volume and temperature are related at two sets of conditions by P1*V1/T1 = P2*V2/T2 (absolute temperature must be used).
Thus V1 = V2 *(P2/P1) * (T1/T2)
