How would I go about converting something priced in Hong Kong Dollars per square meter to US Dollars per square foot. Let's assume a 7.1 exchange rate for HKD to USD. So, I have a price of 1590hkd/psm, and I want to end up with x usd/psf.
I will be building a computer routine to do this, so a step by step approach woudl be great. Thanks so much for the help!

The foot is legally defined as 0.3048 m
1590 HKD/m² x $1 US/7.1 HKD x (0.3048 m/ 1 ft)² = $20.81/ft²
