Hi Franhark,
It is not possible to convert m3 to m2.
m3 is a measurement of volume.
m2 is a measurement of area.

One gallon cannot be converted to "x" feet2.
Similarly 1 m3 cannot be expressed as a value in m2.

Hi Franhark,

You CAN convert M3 to M2. To do this, you need to divide the m3 by your thickness or height.

Formula:
m3 / thk = m2
m3 / hght = m2

eg:

13.01 m3 pack of 28mm thickness wood, would be

13.01 / 0.028 = m2 (464.642 m2)

Note:
Make sure when you divide by your thickness/height, you convert it to a meter value first.

so if you have sheets of glazing, say 200sqm and you want to break it up and put it in a cubic dumpster, how many cubes will it fill???
