Does anyone here know a formula to workout how to find out how long it takes me to ride my bike per mile if I do a 7.9mile distance in 29mins 15secs

Well,
29 mins 15 seconds = 29.25 minutes
29.25 mins /60 mins per hour = 0.4875 hours
7.9 miles / 0.4875 hours = 16.2051 miles per hour
alternatively (not 100% sure what you are asking)...
29 mins 15 seconds = 1755 seconds
1755 seconds / 7.9 miles = 222.2 seconds per mile
222.22 seconds per mile = 3.70 mins per mile = 0.062 hours per mile
