Maasure the inside dimensions of the freezer, and multiply them together.
For example, if you had a (ridicuously small) freezer that was one foot by one foot by one foot inside, it would be one cubic foot, because one times one times one is one. Now if it were two foot by two foot by two foot, it would be 2 ft x 2 ft x 2ft = 8 ft³.
To do this in inches, you can either multiply the cubic foot measurement by 1,728, or you can cpnvert your original measurements to inches, and the multiply them out.
Why 144? observe:
1 foot x 1 foot x 1 foot = 1 cubic foot
1 foot = 12 inches, so:
12 inches x 12 inches x 12 inches = 1,728 cubic inches
Therefor 1 cubic foot = 1,728 cubic inches.
