My last question was answered and I am very grateful but I asked the wrong question.
The correct question is: how many milligrams in a cc since my syringes are measured in cc's? I need to give 6 milligrams of a paste per pound of weight.

With medications, especially those in liquid form, the weight of medication per volume is usually noted. Example: 5 mg per 5 ml.
This information should be on the container label. If not, look on the informational sheet supplied with the medication if one was provided. If you can't find this information, call the vet who gave you the medication.
