I need help converting % to ppm. I'm reading a report where the amount of phosphate in soil is listed in terms such as .07% and .26% (as a percentage of the original weight - I don't know what that was, but I will find out) and I need this in parts per million. I know for a fact having working in the region in question that the ppm could be between 50 and 1500 or 100 and 2000 for example.
Probably the weight was something like .2 milligrams originally.
The work was done using a continuous flow analyzer.
I have no idea how to convert this but I need to know as soon as possible for a publication.
Any help would be great

1.0 % = 10,000 PPM. You can follow this to covert % to PPM
