I need to find the force of a water jet. PSI, KPa - it's not important which. I have some waterproof electronic kitchen scales, which can be fixed vertically to a wall. When I remove the original bowl, I'm left with a 5" square receiving pad. I can 'zero out' the reading, fire the water jet at the pad and get a weight reading. Obviously, the weight reading changes, dependant upon the distance the water jet travels to the scale pad. Is there any way I can convert the scale weight reading to get my water jet PSI or Kpa figure ?
