I need all the help i can get.
I know nothing about converting anything.
I work at a vacuum cleaner store and we carry a new product called "Host Carpet Cleaning Powder" and they say on the packages how much the powder weighs and kg they have.
The customers are needing to know how much square footage this package of powder is going to cover.
For Example: On one package, it says: Net Weight 2.5lbs. (1.1 kg.)
I'm just needing to know how much square footage this package of 2.5lbs of powder is going to cover.
I am needing desperately to know either how to do this converting or if someone could please do it for me?
Because i have no clue what i am doing or even where to start.
I would really appreciate all the help i can get.

As many carpet cleaning and deodorizing products are sprinkled rather sporadically across the surface of the carpet, it’ll be difficult to calculate the rate or coverage area without additional information.
I suggest you call the manufacturer of the product as they should be able to give you more information than what is printed on the packaging. At least they should be able to give you an area of coverage per unit.
