I know this has probably already been asked and I tried to do it myself but was unable to figure it out.
I have 2 areas of concrete I want to pour.
One section is 1750 sq feet at 4 inches depth
Section two is 1900 sq feet at 6 inches depth.
How many yards concrete will I need for each section?

Express the thickness in feet
Multiply to get cubic feet
Convert to cubic yards
1750 sq ft x 4 in x 1 ft/12 in x 1 cu yd/27 cu ft = 21.6 cu yd
1900 sq ft x 6 in x 1 ft/12 in x 1 cu yd/27 cu ft = 35.2 cu yd
