Price per Linear Meter into Price per linear Yard

I have three items that are quoted in price per linear meter. How do I convert into price per linear yard? All of the items are 54" wide.


1) 9.85 per linear meter = X per linear yard
2) 12.55 per linear meter = X per linear yard
3) 13.10 per linear meter = X per linear yard


Also, the three items are in grams per square meter. How do I convert into ounces per square yard?

1) 300-320 GSM
2) 420-440 GSM
3) 450-470 GSM

I found out the GSM part but am still not sure how to convert linear meters into linear yards and adjust the price accordingly.

1 yd = 0.9144 m, so just multiply the price by 0.9144.

to convert g/m2 to oz/y2 you divide the g/m2 by 33.9057

i.e. 350g/m2 = 10.3oz/y2

also, in fabric world g/m2 is also known as "gsm".
