You have to know the molar mass of the substance in question, grams/mole. If you know the chemical formula, you can add up the atomic weights of the constituent elements (and quantities). Then convert the grams to moles. I assume the conversion between liters and deciliters is no problem.

Yes, the molar mass in grams is numerically equal to the molecular weight in atomic mass units (which have a new "official" name but are unchanged). So 384 g/mol in this case.
If you have the formula and a periodic table, you add up the amu's of all the atoms in the molecule.
