Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. Month after month we saw less posts with questions and answers from real people and more spam posts. We were spending more and more resources cleaning the spam until there were less them 1 legitimate message per 100 spam posts. Then we decided it's time to stop.

How to convert PPM to grams in food industry

They can't be directly converted. Ppm literally means parts of one thing per million parts of something else, and represents a dilute mixture. It can be specified on the basis of weights, volumes, mole fractions, so you have to know what kind of ppm is being discussed.
If it is by weight, then it is pretty simple. 1 ppm is also 1 microgram of something per gram of mixture, or 1 mg/kg, or 1 g/t. Just multiple by the amount of mixture.
Because of possible confusion, ppm is deprecated by both NIST and ISO. Forms that directly show the units, such as ug/g, umol/mol, uL/L, etc are preferred.
