It looks like it is being multiplied by 1.8 to restate it per degree C or kelvin (same thing). Note the length unit (inches) cancels out, as it is a proportion. But you could restate as 0.000012 m/m·K. Actually, I would get rid of all the decimal dust and restate as 12 µm/m·K.
