4 qt (32 oz) = 1 gallon

16 oz = 1 lb

128/16 = 8 lbs

The anwer is

First convert US(Gallaons) into liters

1 US(Gallon) = 3.785 lit.=0.003785m3

Now what is the component e.g its is Water

so at STP Water density is 1gm/cm3 or 1000kg/m3

so multiply m3 * Density you will get mass

3.785m3*1000kg/m3 =3.785kg

now convert kg into pounds (US)

1 kg = 2.2046 lb
so 3.785 kg = 8.3445lbs(US).
