Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. Month after month we saw less posts with questions and answers from real people and more spam posts. We were spending more and more resources cleaning the spam until there were less them 1 legitimate message per 100 spam posts. Then we decided it's time to stop.

Can I Convert Square Yards Into Yards?

I Need To Convert Square Yards Into Normal Yards...Ex: I'm making a driving range and the field is 2,420 sq. yards. I need that converted into yards. like golf course yards! Plz help!!!

P.S I am only 12 years old so I do not make much sense. I hope someone knows what i mean

It depends on the shape of the field. If it is rectangular, it means the product of the length and width (both in yards) is 2420 sq yds. If it were perfectly square, that would be about 49.2 yards on each side, but it could be long and skinny, like 242 yards x 10 yards, and have the same area. You would either have to measure it or find a description of it on a deed, which should show you the shape,
