Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. How do I convert M2 to M3.

I'm assuming you mean m^2 (square meters) and m^3 (cubic meters).
The answer . . . you can't convert. Why? Square meters is a two dimensional area. To get a cubic measure (volume), you need a third dimension, making it, well, three dimensional.

well you take the square meter and you multiply it by the thickness of what you want to convert.
for eg:
if you have a 200m^2 floor and you want to cover it with cement which is 10cm thick then you say:
200 * 0.1 = 20 m^3
convert cm to meters and then convert k
:D enjoy
