ousand pound horse need - ?
1000 lb horse x 0.4536 kg/lb = 453.6 kg horse
453.6 kg x 5mL/64 kg = 35.4 mL
1 cc = 1 mL (they are the same thing)
But you should really ask your vet to verify!
