If one was to know a substance that has a similiar weight to acsorbic acid, they would have to know the weight of ascorbic acid, otherwise, a comparsion couldn't be made. :-) As a rule of law, an MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) is required on all chemicals sold in the USA. You can search for them on the Internet.
