You are missing on vital item for you conversion. Cubic meters of WHAT? If you think about it, a cubic meter of feathers is going to be a lot lighter than a cubic meter of concrete. What you will need is a conversion factor - the Density - of the material. Usually this is called the specific gravity, and is in the units of grams per cubic centimeter.
If you'll let me know what you need to convert, I'll see if I can't point you to finding the specific gravity, and from their, the weight of the volume.
