Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. Month after month we saw less posts with questions and answers from real people and more spam posts. I HAVE 1 KG OF FABRIC WITH 215 GSM.HOW CAN I CONVERT THIS UNIT INTO YARDS.

I'll assume that "GSM" stands for grams per square metre (g/m²). This is a simple case of unit analysis.
Therefore, your fabric has an area of approximately 5.564 square yards.

1000 g 1 m² 1 yd²
1 kg × ------ × ------- × --------- = ~5.564 yd²
1 kg 215 g ~0.836 m²
Therefore, your fabric has an area of approximately 5.564 square yards.

I am unable to understand the logic .Can you pls explain in clear .Being a student it difficult for mr to unnderstand in single code.
