Conversion of KJ/min

Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. Month after month we saw less posts with questions and answers from real people and more spam posts. We were spending more and more resources cleaning the spam until there were less them 1 legitimate message per 100 spam posts. Then we decided it's time to stop.

Conversion of KJ/min

I'm looking at comparing energy expenditures in two studies.

The first study published the energy expenditure of fat to be ~15 KJ/min.

The second study is listing data (and here is where I'm confused) as mg/kg*min

or KJ/kg*min.

What is the proper way to convert mg/kg*min to KJ/min. Is a KJ also equal to mass unit/mass unit? Help is appreciated.
