Hello,
I am writing a paper on the use of surplus industrial hydrogen. Trouble is people refer to it differently than others. I am looking for a way to convert Normalised (or standard) cubic metres of hydrogen gas into either kilograms or metric tonnes. Can anyone offer some help?
For example, one company quoted me 152,000 cubic metres a day, while another quoted me 76 standard metres per minute.

At 0 degrees C (273.15 K), the molar volume of an ideal gas is 22.414 L/mol and 1 mole weighs 2.016 g. At this temp. and pressure, hydrogen is VERY close to ideal gas.
1 m^3 x 1000L/m^3 x 1mol/22.414 L x 2.016 g/mol =
89.944 g/m^3 or 0.089944 kg/m^3
(air is about 1.29 kg/m^3)
