Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. Month after month we saw less posts with questions and answers from real people and more spam posts. We were spending more and more resources cleaning the spam until there were less them 1 legitimate message per 100 spam posts. Then we decided it's time to stop.

I need help with percentage solutions in chemistry
I know that if i wanted 1% NaOH sol its 1g in 100ml or 10g 1000ml or
1m is 40g into 1000ml

How do I make solutions from liquids i.e hcl, h2s04 as they can refer to %
I know if I wanted a 0.5m sol from a 1m sol its a x2 dilution with water

what is concentrated hcl % how do I work this out
i'm i right in saying that mass of h2s04 is 98g, so 1m sol is a 9.8%
